2022 Chicago Drum Festival set

The Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago (KPAC) will hold its  2022 Chicago Drum Festival, a concert featuring diverse world-drumming teams based in the Chicago area.

The concert will feature Ayodele Drum and Dance, Tsukasa Taiko, Chicago Samba, and the KPAC,  representing African, Japanese, Brazilian, and Korean traditions, respectively.

KPAC is the leading Korean cultural arts group in metropolitan Chicago, reaching an audience of 25,000 annually.  Formerly known as Global Pungmul Institute,  KPAC provides authentic Korean music education to Chicago area students, hosts guest artists, and provides Korean percussion and traditional music performances for Chicago audiences.  The festival will be held at Ganz Hall, Roosevelt University, located at 430 South Michigan Ave., Chicago.
