Chicago Korean adoptees celebrate Lunar New Year (Seollal)

The Korean Adoptees of Chicago (KAtCH) will ring in the Year of the Rabbit at its Lunar New Year (Seollal) celebration 2023 to be held at the HANA Center in Chicago on Saturday, January 21.
The event will include food and celebratory activities around observance of Lunar New Year in Korea. There will be a special session for kids by Yaejin Shin, student mentor, who will lead children in learning Korean phrases and cultural activities, including how to use the Korean hand drum (sogo).
