Journalist and novelist Frances Cha to speak in free online event

First-time novelist and journalist Frances Cha will speak on her debut novel If I Had Your Face. The story follows the interconnected lives of four women balancing on the edge of survival in contemporary Seoul, a world of strict social hierarchies, extreme plastic surgery and K-pop fan mania. Cha is a former travel writer and culture editor for CNN in Seoul who has lived in South Korea, Hong Kong, and the U.S.  The free on-line live event is sponsored by the Korea Society, and registration information is on the website: https://www.koreasociety.org/arts-culture/item/1390-frances-cha-if-i-had-your-face. Event is set for 6 p.m. EST, 5 p.m. CST
