Art activist Mina Cheon, who creates visual art around the theme of Korean reunification, will speak in a virtual event sponsored by the Korea Society. The event will be held June 30, 5:30 CST (6:30 EST). Her work includes painting, sculpture, video, installation, and performance to portray the precarious relationship and turbulent history of North and South Korea. Her solo exhibition at The Korea Society showcases her most recent painting series of Unification Flags.
