Giving Voice to the Korean American Community
Adoptee Bridge will hold its monthly OurHistory discussion group that meets via Zoom on Sunday, April 11, 3 p.m. CST. The group discusses not only history, but current events of interest to Korean Americans; the group has become particularly important in light of recent events around the March 16 mass murder of eight Asian Americans in Atlanta, Georgia.
The purpose of the discussion group is to allow transracial adoptees to meet in a safe space to explore matters of interest to them. This group is not therapy, rather it is a peer-led discussion group.
AdopteeBridge is able to refer transracial adoptees to appropriate counselors upon request. The group is free, but requires pre-registration. Please see the link for more information.
