Giving Voice to the Korean American Community
Minnesota writers of the essay and poetry collection We Are Meant to Rise will speak in a virtual panel Thursday, April 14, noon to 1:30.
We Are Meant to Rise tells the story, from the point of view of Minnesotan writers of color, of the racial reckoning that began in Minnesota with the murder of African American George Floyd by a white Minneapolis police officer. Panelists will be co-editor and contributor David Mura, with contributors Pamela Fletcher-Bush, Shannon Gibney, Ricardo Levins Morales, Melissa Olson, and Diane Wilson.
