A free webinar, to be held Thursday, August 27, will discuss the history of South Korea’s adoption practices. The session will include how the adoption industry in Korean began, how the receiving nations influenced Korea’s adoption industry, and why fraud and illegal practices took place.

The event is cosponsored by the U.S. Korean Rights Group (USKRG), a non-profit organization formed by U.S. Korean adoptees to represent the rights of Korean American adoptees before the South Korean government. The Canadian Korean Rights Group (CKRG) is also a cosponsor of the event.

The webinar is free, but registration is required. The registration deadline is Tuesday, August 25. The webinar will begin at 7 p.m. (Central Time).  Both adoptees and non-adoptee allies are invited to register. Registration is in the info below.
