Giving Voice to the Korean American Community
Susie Strom, candidate for Minnesota House District 36A, will have an outdoor campaign kick-off event on Thursday, June 23, 5:30 p.m. at Sucker Lake Regional Park, 4500 Rice Street, Vadnais Heights.
Strom, a Korean adoptee from the Twin Cities, is celebrating her Korean heritage with some Korean drumming and dancing performances, and Korean games at this family-friendly event. Asian-inspired food from the “Got Rice” food truck will be available for purchase.
The candidate is running in a district that includes Centerville, Circle Pines, Lino Lakes, North Oaks, and parts of White Bear Township, and has received the endorsement of the Democratic Farmer-Labor (DFL) party.
