Giving Voice to the Korean American Community
Asian American films and films about Midwestern people and topics are some of the selection of offerings for the 2022 North by North International Film Festival, to be held April 27 through May 1, in Duluth.
Badges for $75 are on sale through the month of April for the festival on its website (see link). Badges include unlimited access to screenings, mixers, and panels during the festival. Films will be screened at Zeitgeist Arts, 222 E. Superior St., Duluth.
Festival categories (with sponsoring organizations) include: Indigenous Filmmakers (American Indian Community Housing Organization (AICHO)), Black Fimmakers (Duluth Branch NAACP) Asian Filmmakers (Twin Ports Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Collective (TPAC)). Other categories include: narrative shorts and features; documentary shorts and features; local shorts and features; Midwest shorts and features; horror shorts and features; animation, music videos, and family films.
